Mission: Des MoinesMission: Des Moines

Join us as we come together to minister to the city of Des Moines through a week of service alongside our local missions partners.  Hope’s mission partners are organizations that bless our communities. By partnering with them, we have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of the church and help bless them in return! We will gather for a variety of projects throughout the week. Read below about these incredible non-profits and prayerfully consider how you and your family can be involved.

Joppa is an organization that “helps the homeless survive, find housing, and rebuild their lives.” Their mission is to create communities of unconditional love, support and hope for the homeless, as we work together to prevent and ultimately end homelessness.

Each year Joppa works with the local homeless community to clean up existing and vacated camps, as well as remote public dumpsites in and around Des Moines. Join us as we serve our community in a hands-on way. We encourage you to bring gloves, rakes, tools etc to assist with the project
