Finding Support with Others

We often find support in sharing our experiences with others and being in relationships with others who have gone through similar circumstances and trials. As stated in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” God created us to be in a community, and when we are, we can give and receive support through our trials.

We Are Better Together

Support groups share common issues and offer support, encouragement and comfort through the sharing of personal experiences through their troubles.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)

AA is open to anyone who desires to do something about his or her drinking problem. The purpose of AA is to carry the message of recovery to alcoholics seeking help and can be an ongoing support system for recovering alcoholics.
