Get your little ones dressed in their friendly Halloween costumes and experience the fun of fall with our annual Trunk ‘n’ Treat! Children in grade 6 and under are invited to trick-or-treat in the Hope parking lot in a safe, free and family-friendly environment.

Connecting Faith & Work(shop)

Friday, Oct. 26, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Join us for a one-day workshop where participants will acquire practical tools to better equip them to live out their faith in the workplace. The format will include panel discussions and Q&A with local professionals and pastors, roundtable sessions with fellow professionals, and interactive activities to prepare attendees to demonstrate and share their faith in non-confrontational ways.

SERVE: Helping without Hurting

Sundays, Oct. 21 – Nov. 11, 6:00-7:30 pm

This four-week class brings clarity to how we can make the biggest Kingdom impact when serving other people. SERVE is for everyone, from the experienced volunteer to those simply looking to learn more about how to reach out to others with God’s love.

Marriage is meant to be the oasis of rest in the midst of the busyness of life – your kids, your job, your social calendar. That's why God gave it to us! This retreat will include fun games (with prizes!), funny videos, really great teaching, food and a chance to connect with other couples ... not to mention each other!

Families with children of all ages and ability levels are invited to join us to spend time together creating and enjoying each other’s company! Supply fee: $5/person OR $10/family.

Community Fall Cleanup

Sunday, Nov. 4, 1:00-5:00 pm

In partnership with West Des Moines Human Services, Hope is volunteer to help West Des Moines residents prepare for winter by doing yard work! Tasks include raking leaves, cleaning out flower beds, trimming bushes, bundling sticks, hedge trimming and more! Bring gloves, rakes and trimmers if you have them. This is a great way for families and life groups to serve together!
