Random Acts of Hope
With all of the negative things that can fill our heads due to what’s been happening in the world around us this past year, let’s choose to not focus on that. Instead, let’s end the year with HOPE! It’s not just a blessing for the receiver, but for the giver, too: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)
That’s why, this Advent, we’re encouraging everyone to “gift” a Random Act of Hope to a friend, neighbor, co-worker, or even, a stranger! These gifts can be as simple as dropping off a note on your neighbors doorstep, mailing Christmas cards to a nursing home and asking for them to be distributed to residents, shoveling a neighbor’s driveway, paying for a person’s coffee or meal in line behind you in the drive-thru, painting “kindness rocks” and leaving them next to park benches or on trails, dropping off gift cards or cookies for local police officers and firefighters, emailing someone a note of thanks, or however you best think you could bless someone this season! There is no act too small … every little one makes this world (and the people living in it) a better place!
Share your #RandomActofHope with us on social media by tagging your Hope campus on Instagram or Facebook, or by clicking here. We’d love to see how you are blessing others this season!
