Eli Suddarth has been serving in full-time Christian ministry since 2007, starting as a worship arts intern in Iowa City while completing his bachelor’s in English at the University of Iowa. While on staff with a church plant in the Chicago area, Eli completed his first master’s degree at Wheaton College in Evangelism and Leadership and felt God calling him to focus more on engaging people far from God to help them discover the richness found in a relationship with Jesus. Eli earned his second master’s in Philosophical Theology from Lincoln Christian University in 2015 and served various churches in Illinois and North Carolina by helping them focus on outreach.
As the Discipleship Minister for Hope’s Ankeny campus, Eli teaches and preaches regularly and provides staff supervision for the Adult, Children, Student and Missions ministries. God has placed in him a passion for those who don’t yet know of God’s love, and he is excited to be a part of Lutheran Church of Hope and the great work being done to draw people from all walks of life to encounter Jesus.
Eli and his wife, Katie, married in 2008 and they have two children, June and Henry.
