Hope WDM E-News (Jan. 11, 2019)

Good morning, Hope!

This church is hopping!

As the New Year begins, I’m thrilled to see so many of you take steps to become even more biblically fluent. We’re seeing big increases in attendance at men’s and women’s gatherings, Page 2 Worship, REVIVE (young adults) and Bible studies. Registrations are way up, too, for the 10-week Alpha Course that starts this Sunday after the 11:00 am service (and another one during the week on Wednesday mornings) … you can still sign up here!

This weekend, we’ll turn the page in our Book of Acts (part of the 12 Books in 12 Months theme for 2019 ) sermon series to Acts 2, a powerful story about the birth of the Christian church, and the phenomenal events that inspired that church’s rapid growth ...

As a church that wants to do more than just read about the power of the Holy Spirit (we want to live it out, too!), we’ll start our services by welcoming 392 new members into our church family (Acts 2:47 comes to life), and we’ll close each service with an open call for any and all to be baptized, or to affirm your baptism (Acts 2:38 comes to life).

You don’t want to miss this … hop on over to Hope this weekend! Bring a Bible & your friends! We’ll make room!
