COVID-19 Update: Our Confirmation program for students in grades 6-8, will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Parents and their student(s) are invited to join us on Wednesday, Sept. 16  in person or online via Zoom. Then, on Wednesday, Sept. 23 students will have their first night of small groups. Students will meet here at church or online via Zoom depending on your registration.

Families can select from the following options during registration.

  • Option #1 “At Church” – students join large group gatherings in the Worship Center (socially distanced and wearing a mask); then have small group discussions with an adult leader in a Hope classroom. (socially distanced and wearing a mask).
  • Option #2 “Online” – students join large group gatherings via a private Zoom link; then have small group discussions with an adult leader via Zoom (video chat).

Start times will be the same for all three registration options (at church, online, or at home)

IMPORTANT: please review our PowerLife FAQ for additional information.

We know this year of PowerLife will be unique. However, we are still committed to making sure PowerLife is a fun, safe and welcoming environment where junior high students (grades 6-8) can explore the Bible, ask challenging questions, share their thoughts, meet new friends, and confirm their faith in Jesus Christ.

Our time together on Wednesday nights (whether joining in-person at the church or tuning in online via Zoom) will include worship with a live band, a Bible reading, time for prayer, and a message focused on the challenges students face every day. Afterwards, students will have small group discussions and prayer time (both in-person or online) led by faithful volunteers. We encourage our students to put their faith into practice by learning the value of sharing their thoughts, praying together, reading the Bible, and serving others.

Each student (who selects the “at church” or “online” option) will be placed into a small group with their peers along with at least one adult. Groups are formed according to registration and then will be determined by what’s best for groups.

PowerLife meets during the school year on Wednesdays.
