Women’s Ministry

Connect and grow in friendship

Our Women’s Ministry seeks to create an authentic and empowering space for women in our congregation to connect and grow in friendship with each other. Women will grow in their relationship with God and learn how to bring their faith into their daily lives and the challenges women face in today’s world and culture. Our Women’s Ministry will equip women with how to grow in a deep-rooted faith and share the love of Jesus with the world around them.

The Gathering for Women

The Gathering for Women welcomes all women — whether you’re a part of the Hope family or not — to join them on the first Thursday of the month from 6:30-8:00 pm. This event is a time for Women of Hope to be in fellowship, worship and prayer. Our Women’s Ministry of Hope Grimes also hosts online and in-person Bible and book studies for women on Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings. Opportunities to Serve

There are many ways to connect and serve with other women. Below are the current committees available (most are only a one- to two-hour monthly commitment).

  • Bible/Book Studies
  • Breakfast Serving (Serve with our community) 
  • Event Team (Help plan the fall retreat & 1-2 other events)
  • Prayer Team (Pray over prayer requests 1-2x/mo)
  • Social Media & Communications (Facebook/Instagram, etc.)
  • The Gathering Team (Hospitality, Food, Planning)
  • Volunteer as needed (Meal Trains, campus help requests, care needs)
