Hope Ahead

Dear Hope Family,

We are part of a grand vision to make Jesus Christ known throughout our neighborhoods and throughout the world. As we reach out with God’s love to the world around us, we will experience a Holy Spirit revival and the lives of people will be filled with hope forever.

Three years ago, the people of Hope Grimes committed financially to a three-year Building Hope capital campaign to acquire land in Grimes and build a church building. One year ago, we moved into the building and God has continued to draw people to Hope Grimes to become faithful followers of Jesus and make heaven more crowded!

As our Building Hope campaign ends in 2019, we are excited to embark on our next steps toward the growth and development of our congregation as we enter our new 10 for 10 vision.

The opportunity has never been greater to reach the thousands of people in our neighborhoods, and millions throughout the world who are in desperate need of God’s love.

Our Hope Grimes Leadership team has been praying and working over the last year to determine our next steps, and we are excited to present a new two-year campaign, Hope for the Future, focused on financial health, reaching out to the community, and upgrading our technology and operations capacity to build rich learning environments for children, students, and families.

As always, we invite you to pray about Hope for the Future. Ask God, “what do you want to do through me to bring about your vision for Hope?” Listen to God’s response. Then act!

Please pray and ask God for his guidance in how you will participate financially to our next steps campaign!

Our goals through this campaign are to:

  • Pay off $1,000,000 of our debt, improving our financial health and adding approximately $50,000 (interest savings) back to our budget that will be used toward mission and ministry.
  • Expand outreach into the community by building an outdoor bridge (making the church building more accessible to the neighborhood) and amphitheater.
  • Make improvements to our Youth & Family Ministries at Hope

Timeline:

  • Pledge Weekend: Dec.14-15 during all services
  • Pledges and financial gifts may be given through Dec. 31
  • Campaign Results Announcement: Jan. 11-12 during all services
