Community Resources:
Care Team
The Hope+Elim Care Team is a group of people that help offer Christian support to those needing encouragement and support during a difficult season of their life. Whether an individual is going through a divorce, is grieving, recently unemployed, having trouble in a relationship, suffering from an illness, or something else that is causing them anxiety or pain, the Care Team offers one-to-one meetings with those seeking out care and are there to listen and help.
People on the Care Team typically meet with those in need of care for an hour on a weekly basis, care givers and care receivers are matched men-to-men, and women-to-women.
If you would like to join the care team please email [email protected] or sign-up for the next training. We do request all those interested take our four week class on providing care.
Prayer Shawl
The Prayer Shawl Team meets once a week to create knitted or crocheted shawls, covered and soaked with prayer, for those needing an extra reminder of God’s abundant love, grace and healing. All skill levels and new participants are always welcome.
Prayer Shawl meets the first Saturday of the month at 9:30 am, at Hope+Elim. If you would like a shawl, or would like more details, please contact [email protected].
