Prayer

Prayer Is Powerful!
Join us in praying.

Prayer is how we communicate with God and is essential to our walk of faith. Prayer is how we connect to God and when done with others allows us to connect to each other. Prayer is essential and powerful for our individual spiritual growth. Our mission to “reach out to the world around us and share the everlasting love of Jesus Christ” is supported by our Prayer Ministry through various forms of prayer. At Hope+Elim you can receive prayer at our Sunday service, send a prayer request to our prayer team and attend prayer classes.

We Would Love to Pray for You!

Prayer Opportunities

Offer Prayer for Others
Join the Prayer Partner Team or the Intercessory Team. The Prayer Partner Team is available after celebration services and prays for those who desire to be prayed for. The Intercessory Team prays before celebration services and prays on behalf of others throughout the building in preparation for services. Both teams are trained and equipped to offer this important support for Hope+Elim.

Receive Prayer
Prayer is a powerful way to connect with God. If you are in need of prayer, join us following worship as prayer partners are available. If you desire midweek prayer, please email [email protected] to set up an appointment.

Prayer Classes
Hope+Elim offers multiple classes on prayer throughout the year that teach a variety of ways to pray and connect with God in this way.

Prayer Shawl
The Prayer Shawl Ministry is a team with a compassionate heart for others and a love of knitting/crocheting, all while praying over everything they make. All skill levels and new participants are always welcome.

Emergency Prayer
Please feel free to call 515-222-1520 and select the option for emergency support. Your call will be answered by a contracted answering service. Your information will be relayed to Hope’s Care Ministry for responses. This is for urgent care needs such as hospitalization, deaths, etc.
