What is Mission Ghana?
Team participants will partner with GlobeServe Ministries International in the work they are doing throughout Ghana. Making disciples of Jesus Christ is at the core of all that GlobeServe is involved in.
What do we do?
Participants may visit different villages, spend time with staff and children at GlobeServe’s school, assist in community health initiatives such as malaria education and mosquito net distribution, and have opportunities to learn cultural history.
How do we get there?
The team will fly into Accra, Ghana, and will be met at the airport by GlobeServe staff.

Who can go?
Anyone who has a heart for Jesus and is age 16 or older. Those under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Where do we stay?
Missionaries typically stay at a modest hotel with a restaurant. These hotels usually have air conditioning and private bathrooms.
What travel documents do I need?
A current U.S. passport is required as well as a visa into Ghana. Click here for more information on acquiring a passport. Information on acquiring a visa will be provided by the Missions staff after registration.
What immunizations do I need?
Yellow fever vaccination is required for entry into Ghana. Please consult your physician on recommended vaccinations, which may include Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, typhoid, meningitis, preventative medication for malaria, booster as needed for tetanus-diphtheria, measles and a one-time dose of polio vaccine for adults. What is the cost*?
Cost is $2,500 for the January trip and $3,000 for the June trip. This cost includes airfare, hotel, meals, ground transportation, luggage fees and bottled water during the trip.
Passport, vaccination and visa costs are additional.
Please note that two months before departure, at least 50 percent of the trip total must be paid.One month prior to departure, trip total must be paid in full.

How do I sign up?
You may apply for registration online by clicking the dates of the trip above. If you have issues with registration, please call Hope’s WDM office at 515-222-1520.
A $500 non-refundable deposit per person is due upon registration.
Once registered, background checks will be conducted by Hope on all mission trip applicants age 18 and older. This is to ensure the safety and protection of all mission team members and the people we serve.
