Mission HaitiMISSION HAITI

What is Mission Haiti?
Haiti is currently the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere with 80 percent of the population living under the poverty line (less than US$2 a day) and 54 percent in abject poverty (less than US$1 a day). Team participants will partner with Many Hands for Haiti (MH4H) in the Christ-centered impact they are making in the community of Pignon, Haiti.

What do we do?
Team participants travel to Pignon, Haiti and work with our on-the-ground mission partner, Many Hands for Haiti in several community service projects. Projects may include light construction, feeding programs utilizing Meals from the Heartland, hut-to-hut evangelism, Vacation Bible School programs, agricultural projects and community development work.

How do we get there?
The team will depart from Des Moines and fly together into Cap Hatien or Pignon. Upon arrival, the team will be greeted by Many Hands for Haiti staff and taken to the MH4H campus.
