What is Mission Israel?
Mission Israel is not your typical mission trip. Working with Hope’s mission partner in Israel, the Emmaus Bible Ministry, participants will learn what it’s like to be Christian in a land where Christianity is a very small minority of the practicing religions. Trip members will better understand what it means to share the Gospel where it can be illegal to evangelize and how devoted followers of Christ are sharing the Good News even where it seems almost nobody is interested in listening. This is a life-changing experience that will leave you reading the Bible through a different lens and will challenge you to face this question: “Am I just a fan of Jesus, or am I really a fully-devoted follower of Christ?”
Where do we go and what do we do?
Participants will visit the biblical sites in Jerusalem, Sea of Galilee area, and throughout Israel and the West Bank. We will meet and help our mission partner in Israel, Emmaus Bible Ministry, as well as churches in various parts of Israel.
