What is Mission Uganda?
Mission Uganda is a partnership between Lutheran Church of Hope and ChildVoice. Participants will spread the love of Christ to young people whose lives have been torn apart by war in northern Uganda.
What do we do?
Trip participants will travel to a rural area in northern Uganda where ChildVoice is bringing hope to the people through a residential, therapeutic Christ-centered program for young war-affected women and their children. There will be opportunities to serve in a variety of ways, including Bible lessons, prayer and worship time, construction and/or agricultural projects, early childhood education, vocational education, care of infants and young children, recreational games, medical service, and more. Our first focus is relationships with the people, reminding them of God’s hope and their identity in Christ. Count on God changing you as well!
