An affordable and family-friendly trip for those who have a heart for at-risk youth and a desire to make an impact by positive role modeling. The Ranch is a Christ-centered oasis located just south of Des Moines that provides healing, hope and God’s unconditional love through summer camps and year-round retreats to children and at-risk youth from all over Iowa.

Team participants have their choice of a couple different tracks to serve. Team members may choose to assist staff and group leaders in daily camp activities and transform lives by pouring into kids or options serve behind the scenes by assisting in maintaining the facilities, through construction projects, maintenance and landscaping.

Trip dates: June 18-23, 2023
Trip cost*: $275 for adults. Ages 10-13 years old are $150. Transportation to the Ranch is not included.
Trip open to: Ages 10 and up. Those under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

FAQs

How do we get there?
Team participants are responsible for their own travel to and from Wildwood Hills Ranch. The Ranch is located about 35 minutes south of Des Moines. The team will arrive on Sunday evening and depart on Friday.

Where do we stay?
The team will stay at the Ranch and get the full camp experience of sleeping in cabins and eating in the Dining Hall. Cabins are air conditioned and have bathrooms and a shower.

What does the cost include?
Total cost covers food, lodging and activities throughout the week. Transportation costs and souvenirs are additional.

When are payments due?
Please note that two weeks prior to departure, trip must be paid in full.
