Baptism

Note: At this time, due to CDC recommendations, we are only offering baptisms for groups of 50 or less (including the pastor), socially distanced and wearing masks. Families are welcome to videotape the baptism to share with others who are unable to attend.

Jesus commands his followers to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19). This is not a polite suggestion; it is a command from Jesus which he gives as his "last words" before his ascension into heaven!

Hope holds monthly classes to explain why being baptized is important and how you and/or your children can be baptized. Membership of the church is not required. Baptism classes are held quarterly on the second Thursday from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Baptisms are held the second and fourth Sundays of each month after the 11:00 am service.

To schedule a baptism at Hope Waukee, e-mail Sarah Kaczrowski or call 515-850-1200.
