Baptism
Jesus commands his followers to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19). This is not a polite suggestion; it is a command from Jesus which he gives as his "last words" before his ascension into heaven!
Baptism is a public event for the whole family of God to celebrate! Baptism services are held at the following times on Sundays:
- In the Chapel during the 9:00 am Traditional Service on the second and fourth Sundays
- In the Worship Center at the conclusion of the 11:00 am Celebration Service
- In the Worship Center during the 5:00 pm Celebration Service on the second and fourth Sundays of the month
Once a quarter, special full immersion baptisms are offered. Please contact Hope at [email protected] to inquire about a full immersion baptism.
If, however, getting baptized in a public setting is the only thing keeping you from being baptized, please contact Hope at 222-1520 or [email protected] and special arrangements can be made.
