Hope West Des Moines Children's Center

Our Program

At Hope West Des Moines Children’s Center, we provide a nurturing, faith-based, and educational environment for children (age six weeks until kindergarten). Our daycare program offers excellent teacher-to-child ratios, and Bible-based, Christ-centered curriculum.

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm
A morning and afternoon snack, and hot lunch are provided.

Our Classrooms

Children at Hope West Des Moines Children’s Center engage in developmentally appropriate learning activities to promote academic readiness, social, emotional, physical and spiritual skills.

We use the Creative Curriculum approach in all of our classrooms. Creative Curriculum balances both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning, with an emphasis on children's learning styles and building on their strengths and interests.

Parental Involvement

Our parents are truly viewed as an integral part of our program. We invite parents to come and help with our special classroom celebrations. We have a Thanksgiving Celebration and a Christmas Program for the entire family. We value moms with “Muffins with Moms” and dads with “Floats with Fathers.”

Each teacher provides a monthly newsletter, which describes the planned areas of interest throughout the week. This newsletter will give you some specific "clues" about songs, stories, and other exciting discoveries that have occurred during your child’s busy week.
